Super Pocket from Evercade debuts two new editions for the classic Atari and Technos libraries

Evercade's Super Pocket handheld line expands with Atari and Technos editions! These new handhelds will feature classic games from the respective platforms. A limited-edition wood-grain Atari Super Pocket (only 2600 units!) will also be available soon.

Game preservation is a contentious topic, but Evercade offers a legitimate alternative to expensive secondhand purchases or emulation. Following the successful Capcom and Taito releases, the Atari and Technos editions provide another avenue for officially playing retro games.

Retro Gaming on the Go

The Evercade Super Pocket's compatibility with existing Evercade cartridges makes it a versatile choice for retro gaming enthusiasts. While some might view the limited-edition wood-grain Atari model as a marketing ploy (unless it genuinely uses real wood grain!), the overall offering is a positive step for official retro game access.
