Where to Stream The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep (and How It Fits Into The Witcher Timeline)

Author:Kristen Update:Mar 17,2025

Geralt of Rivia returns, or rather, Geralt's voice returns. Netflix's latest addition to its Witcher Universe is an animated film, Sirens of the Deep, a spin-off set during Season 1 of the Netflix series. Doug Cockle, the voice of Geralt from the acclaimed video games, once again lends his voice to the monster hunter.

IGN critic Jarrod Jones notes in his review that while the pairing of Cockle's Geralt and Joey Batey's Jaskier holds appeal, its charm may be primarily felt by dedicated fans. Nevertheless, it might serve as a satisfying bridge to the eagerly anticipated Witcher 4.

For those wondering about streaming options and its place in the Witcher timeline, read on.

The official synopsis: "Hired to investigate attacks on a seaside village, mutant monster hunter Geralt unravels an age-old conflict between humans and sea people, threatening war between kingdoms. Aided by allies, he must solve the mystery before hostilities escalate."

Netflix's live-action series, starring Henry Cavill for three seasons, premiered in 2019. Season 4, featuring Liam Hemsworth as Geralt, is slated for April release.
