Doro Makes a Cameo!

Developer SHIFT UP just released the trailer for their upcoming Goddess of Victory: NIKKE DLC collaboration. Uploaded to YouTube on May 22, fans were quick to spot the viral chibi-dog meme Doro, whose appearance surprised many viewers.

At the video's close, Doro briefly appears and shares a short interaction with Stellar Blade's protagonist, Eve. The online phenomenon is fully animated, showing off its playful nature—striking poses, running around, and capping the trailer with a laugh.

The meme originated from fan art depicting Stella Unibell from "Soulworker" as a chibi-dog. It gained popularity across Korean NIKKE forums and was later applied to NIKKE’s Dorothy, earning the nickname "Dororong." With a lovably chaotic personality, the meme spread worldwide, known as "Gremlin Dorothy" and even appearing outside the NIKKE community.

Its fame even reached SHIFT UP CEO Kim Hyung Tae, who, along with his wife, was seen in 2024 with a Christmas-themed Doro plush. Though Doro’s exact role in the collaboration remains a mystery, fans are both thrilled and amused by the quirky addition.

Stellar Blade x NIKKE Launch Date: June 11

The highly awaited crossover launches on June 11, coinciding with the game’s PC version release. According to its official site, the expansion introduces a new boss fight, NIKKE-themed outfits and rewards, a fresh mini-game, and more.

The website states, "Scarlet, the warrior from Shift Up’s hit third-person shooter mobile game, arrives for an epic one-on-one showdown—defeat this new boss to unlock a new costume, hairstyle, and song for EVE."

In addition, the new mini-game draws inspiration from NIKKE’s sci-fi shooting mechanics. Players can also visit a rewards shop run by NIKKE’s robotic dog, Volt, which offers themed outfits and cosmetics. For a relaxing break, players can try fishing to collect six NIKKE-themed items.

Specific details about the DLC’s outfits and rewards are yet to be announced. Still, fans are eager to experience this collaboration between SHIFT UP’s two beloved franchises.
