Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Is Coming To Mobile This November!

Stardew Valley's highly anticipated 1.6 update finally arrives on mobile devices on November 4th, 2024! Console and mobile players can now enjoy the massive update, originally released on PC in March 2024.

What's New in Stardew Valley Update 1.6 Mobile?

This update significantly expands the game's multiplayer capabilities, increasing the online player limit to eight—double the previous capacity. Team up with friends to farm, fish, and build together! Two exciting new fishing festivals, the Trout Derby and SquidFest, join the seasonal event lineup, alongside the Desert Festival.

Explore the new Meadowlands Farm layout, ideal for livestock farming with convenient access to fishing spots. Over 100 new NPC dialogues enhance interactions with the town's residents, adding depth to the social aspect of the game.

A plethora of new items awaits! These include the Big Chest (nearly twice the size of a standard chest), a dehydrator for preserving fruits and mushrooms, a heavy furnace, and a bait maker for crafting specialized fish lures.

Customization options abound with new furniture styles and over 25 new hats. Earn prize tickets by completing quests and participating in festival events, then redeem them at a prize machine located in Lewis' house.

After maxing out your starting pet's hearts, you can now have multiple pets, each potentially bringing gifts! And yes, you can put hats on them! Notice the updated winter outfits on the NPCs as well.

A golden Joja parrot assists in locating the elusive golden walnuts on Ginger Island. New crops include carrots, summer squash, broccoli, powdermelon, and two giant crop varieties.

Reasons for the Delay?

The delay in releasing the 1.6 update for mobile and consoles allowed the developers to thoroughly test the update on PC and address any bugs before its wider release. November marks the arrival of new fishing events, adorable pets, and exciting new crops!
