Star Wars: Visions S3 Drops Ninth Jedi Tale

Star Wars Celebration unveiled exciting news: Star Wars: Visions Volume 3 will premiere on October 29, 2025, alongside a new spin-off series continuing The Ninth Jedi storyline introduced in Volume 1.

The anthology's third installment showcases nine unique short films from renowned Japanese studios, including Studio Trigger (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners), WIT Studio (Attack on Titan), David Production, Kamikaze Douga, ANIMA, Kinema Citrus, Polygon Pictures, Production I.G., and Project Studio Q.

Three episodes will expand existing narratives: Kamikaze Douga's The Duel, Kinema Citrus's The Village Bride, and Production I.G.'s The Ninth Jedi, with the latter receiving its own dedicated series.

Writer-director Kenji Kamiyama revealed at the event that Kara's story will continue through this spin-off, offering deeper explorations of the Star Wars: Visions expanded universe.

Though details remain scarce, Volume 3 will feature Kara alongside Juro in the upcoming episode "Child of Hope".
