You can locate the Cavalier sniper rifle close to the Military Unit inside the Duga base. The weapon is stored inside a warehouse connected to a greenhouse. If you’ve previously visited Duga to retrieve the Journalist’s stash, re-entering through the secondary entrance should be straightforward.

Follow these steps to secure the Cavalier inside the warehouse.

Entering the Warehouse Near Duga Base’s Military Unit

Once inside Duga base, make your way toward the Military Unit structure marked on your map. There’s no need to enter the building itself; instead, navigate around it to access the greenhouse situated at the rear. Stay alert—two Pseudogiants patrol this area and will engage on sight. Once you locate the greenhouse, advance carefully to avoid confrontation with these lethal mutants.

Pass through the greenhouse to enter the warehouse. Immediately upon entry, multiple rat swarms will emerge and begin depleting your health. Head toward the back of the warehouse where elevated green platforms allow you to climb to safety. A well-placed grenade can eliminate the swarms effectively.

Destroy the Wooden Boards and Claim the Cavalier Rifle

With the rats dealt with, look up at the ceiling above the entrance connecting to the greenhouse. You’ll notice wooden panels marked with yellow paint. Shoot these boards with your firearm, and the Cavalier sniper rifle will fall to the ground.

Retrieve the weapon and exit Duga base safely. You can now bring the Cavalier to Screw, the technician stationed at the Rostok base, for upgrades. It delivers top-tier damage with excellent accuracy, both of which can be enhanced through modifications and attachments.
