Rule the world a thousand years ahead by traveling back in time!

An army travels a millennium into the past to conquer the world—only to find their primitive opponents are more than they expected. Lead a global resistance with hundreds of warriors from diverse cultures. Take direct control of one hero, or command your full army from a strategic view. Blending deep world-domination strategy with fully interactive battles, this game offers the best of both genres. And just when you think it's over… history may repeat itself.

UPGRADES

While the core game is free, optional upgrades let you customize your experience—choose your starting side and territory size. Unleash fantasy battles between any two cultures with as many warriors as your device can handle. You can even edit every character in the world, though be aware the game features up to 1,000 characters that are regularly refreshed.

CONTROLS

When controlling an individual character, choose between “Classic” one-handed controls or “Dual Wield,” which lets you control each hand separately. New to the series? Pause anytime by tapping the timeline and study the “Controls” guide. Also watch for in-game hints from scrolls and books you can read.

Switch between team members anytime by tapping their health bar or pointing directly at them on the battlefield. Use the arrows at the bottom to activate “Commander” mode—step back and direct any unit by swiping from their position to a target. Whether you command them to move, fight, or grab an object, they'll interpret your orders as best they can—though they may have their own priorities!

No matter your device or control scheme, zoom in or out by pinching the center of the screen.

MAP

In the main Campaign mode, expand your territory by moving units between connected areas. Choose to fortify a region you hold or attack a rival’s land. Note: only 50% of a territory’s units can travel at once, making invasions tougher than defense.

Populations in occupied territories grow after each round, so control as many as possible. Units also heal gradually over time, so try rotating through different locations each turn.

PERFORMANCE

This is the largest-scale game we’ve created and may require a high-end device to run smoothly. Reduce the “Population” setting to limit on-screen characters, or adjust visual options in “Display” for better performance.
