While the full roster remains under wraps, the game is slated to launch with 23 characters, with more to come. The revealed lineup includes fan favorites like Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy, alongside characters from Sonic Riders, the Deadly Six, Team Dark, the Chaotix, and others like Blaze, Silver, Cream, and Big.

Dynamic Racing with CrossWorlds

Prepare for a revolutionary racing experience! Travel Rings transport racers between diverse CrossWorlds in real-time, dramatically altering the race course. Each CrossWorld offers unique environments, obstacles, and even giant monsters, creating a theme park-style adventure with surprises around every corner. Expect 24 main tracks and 15 dynamic CrossWorlds to explore. The tracks themselves are dynamic, changing throughout each lap, adding another layer of strategic challenge.

Customization, Extreme Gear, and Gadgets

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds offers unparalleled vehicle customization, allowing players to tweak everything from body parts and wheels to colors and glow effects. The game also features 23 different gadgets to enhance gameplay and 45 unique vehicles, including the return of Extreme Gear hoverboards from Sonic Riders, providing a boost-focused racing style. Sonic Creative Officer Takashi Iizuka calls it "a great culmination of all the Sonic Racing series games to date."
