The Roland-Garros eSeries is set to return in 2025, offering players worldwide the chance to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year, the tournament introduces an exciting team-based format, legendary tennis captains, and a €5,000 prize pool. Renault and Mastercard continue their sponsorship, allowing players to customize their characters with exclusive Roland-Garros 2025 outfits and the special Renault 5 Roland-Garros string.

When Does It Start?

The Roland-Garros eSeries kicks off in March with open qualifiers, marking the first battleground for players aiming to secure a spot in the finals. The qualifying stages are scheduled from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8, paving the way for the elite contenders to emerge. The top female players from the first two qualifiers will join the overall winners in the finals. The climactic showdown will take place at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, with a live audience and streaming available on Twitch.

What’s New This Year?

A significant change for the Roland-Garros eSeries 2025 is the introduction of a team-based format. Finalists will now be organized into teams, each led by a prominent figure in French tennis. Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, has been confirmed as one of the team captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator since 2023 and competed in the 2024 Top 8, will coach one of the squads. The identity of his rival captain, a Grand Slam winner, is yet to be revealed, adding an element of anticipation to the event.

Once the teams are finalized, the competition intensifies. The winning team from the initial phase will advance to the winner’s side of the double-elimination bracket, while the losing team starts in the loser’s bracket. Defending champion Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco will be back to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's impressive turnout of 548,000 participants from 215 territories, the 2025 competition promises to be even more thrilling.
