The graphic novel is a collaborative effort between Emmy-nominated journalist Melissa Chan and activist artist Badiucao, known as "China's Banksy." Both are making their comic book debuts with this project.

Here's the official synopsis:

In 2035, a proto-fascist America and China are at war, with Taiwan caught in the crossfire. Three idealistic young friends, who met in Hong Kong, grapple with differing approaches to resisting this oppressive, technologically advanced regime. Andy, Maggie, and Olivia embark on separate paths toward change, confronting the personal costs and transformations inherent in their fight for freedom. This powerful narrative explores global totalitarian futures and the sacrifices demanded by resistance.
