While you begin with a pair of shoes, replenishing your footwear is essential. New shoes can be found in chests, looted from enemies like poachers, or purchased legally.

Tailors sometimes sell shoes (for example, in Troskowitz), but these often lack superior stats. For better quality footwear, seek out a cobbler. One is located in Trosky, identifiable on the map by its three red circle symbol (see map below).

Cobblers offer a variety of goods beyond shoes, including horse equipment and even Blacksmith’s and Cobbler’s Kits.

Shoe repair can be done in two ways: by cobblers/blacksmiths (for a fee, reduced by Craftsmanship skill perks) or by yourself. Self-repair requires a Cobbler’s Kit and a sufficient Craftsmanship level. Kits are obtainable from various vendors, chests, and looted NPCs.

To use a Cobbler’s Kit, access your inventory, select the kit, and use the interact button (“E” on PC). A menu will appear, listing repairable items. Faded items indicate insufficient skill. Select the items and repair them using the interact button again.

This guide covers acquiring and repairing shoes in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. The same process applies to other gear using a Blacksmith’s Kit. Alternatively, utilizing vendors for repairs is always a viable option to maintain well-equipped gear.
