The 2025 PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) kicks off with a massive Open Qualifier featuring over 90,000 competitors vying for a share of the $500,000 prize pool. This premier international PUBG Mobile esports event, starting February 13th, provides a platform for aspiring players to showcase their skills and compete against established teams.

The Open Qualifiers offer a pathway for amateur teams to rise through the ranks. Teams boasting at least one Ultimate 500-ranked player from Cycle 7 Season 20 or 21 have already advanced to Round 2. Upcoming weeks will see intense competition for a spot in the PMGO Prelims, where they'll face off against top contenders from the Uzbekistan Offline Qualifiers.

ytTwelve teams will ultimately earn a coveted place in the PMGO Main Event, challenging top professional teams. Four professional teams—Regnum Carya, Nigma Galaxy, 4Merical Vibes, and Influence Rage—have already secured their spots based on their stellar PMGC 2024 performances. Four additional teams will qualify through regional competitions, including the PMSL SEA Spring, PMGO Korea Qualifier, and the Peacekeeper Elite League Spring season.

The Open Qualifiers conclude on March 2nd, followed by the Prelims (April 10th-11th) and the Main Event (April 12th-13th). This tournament marks the beginning of an exciting year for PUBG Mobile Esports, with the PUBG Mobile World Cup and PMGC returning later in 2025.
