Following Fire Canyon's intense Zoomer level, Precursor Basin offers a less perilous, yet arguably more challenging, experience. This guide details how to conquer Precursor Basin's tricky objectives and earn every trophy.

Herd the Moles

Begin by herding four moles back to their holes using the Zoomer. Use the Zoomer's hop for sharp turns to keep up with the fleeing moles. Reward: A Power Cell from the Geologist in Rock Village.

Catch the Flying Lurkers

Chase and ram the Flying Lurkers in this area. Anticipate their turns to intercept them efficiently. The final Lurker drops a Power Cell.

Beat the Gorge Record Time (45 Seconds)

This race requires speed and precision. Utilize Lurkers for extra jumps, and strategically collect Blue Eco for speed boosts. Avoid Dark Eco Crates. A precise 180-degree turn is crucial near the pit. Consider the risk/reward of using the Lurker for a higher jump near the end. Reward: A Power Cell from the Gambler. Beat 40 seconds for a trophy.

Retrieve the Lake Power Cell

Starting from the slope (Image 1), navigate the narrow bridge and gaps between islands (Images 2 & 3). Use the ramp on the second island (Image 4), then hop across three islands (Image 5) to reach the final bridge and the Precursor Orb.

Cure the Dark Eco Infected Plants

Charge with Green Eco and drive through the purple plants to cure them before they regrow. Use the hop for sharp turns and the Green Eco Vent to replenish your supply. Reward: A Power Cell.

Navigate the Purple Precursor Rings

This ring challenge is relatively straightforward. The key is a daring jump off a natural bridge to reach an airborne ring. Successfully navigating the final ring earns a Power Cell.

Navigate the Blue Precursor Rings

This is the more difficult ring challenge. Use the rocks near the lake to launch the Zoomer for a high ring. Precise turns are crucial around pillars and across the lake. Careful navigation is needed on the narrow paths.

Successfully completing the course awards a Power Cell.

Free the Seven Scout Flies

Collect all seven Scout Flies for a Power Cell. They are located near the Mole Hole, atop the slope, across the narrow bridge, on and under the raised area, and near the Blue Precursor Rings.
