If you've ever been curious about how a prospective Pope spends their downtime, you're in for a surprise; according to a close family member, the newly elected Pope Leo XIV enjoys activities just like us, indulging in games and movies during his leisure time.

As we previously reported, Edward Berger's gripping papal thriller, Conclave, captivated audiences last year. Its "remarkably accurate" depiction of the papal election process led some real-life religious leaders, including those involved in the recent conclave that elected Pope Leo XIV, to seek guidance from the film. Among them was Robert Francis Prevost, who has now ascended to the papacy as Pope Leo XIV.

In an interview with NBC, Pope Leo XIV's older brother, John Prevost, shared insights from their last conversation before the conclave. They discussed their daily gaming routine, playing Wordle and Words with Friends together. John also inquired if his brother had watched Conclave for any tips on the papal election process.

"He had just finished watching the movie Conclave," John revealed. "So he knew how to behave. We talk about things like that to take his mind off the upcoming conclave and just laugh about something."

PlayDirected by Edward Berger, the BAFTA and Oscar-winning film *Conclave* delves into one of the world's most secretive and ancient events — the selection of a new Pope. Cardinal Lawrence, portrayed by Ralph Fiennes, is responsible for overseeing this clandestine process following the sudden death of the beloved Pope. As the Church's most influential leaders gather from across the globe and are sequestered within the Vatican, Lawrence uncovers a conspiracy and a secret that could undermine the very foundations of the Church.
