This graphic depiction of predation has generated significant online discussion, with Reddit threads expressing concern and even heartbreak over the seemingly brutal scene. Many commenters echoed this sentiment, highlighting the unexpected violence in a typically family-friendly game.

The Space Time Smackdown expansion, themed around Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, includes 207 cards (fewer than Genetic Apex's 286, but with a higher percentage of rare alternate art cards). The expansion features popular Pokémon like Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina, alongside Weavile and Mamoswine.
