Pokémon TCG Pocket adds trading, Space-Time Smackdown

Trading and New Expansion Arriving Soon

The long-awaited trading feature finally lands in Pokémon TCG Pocket alongside the Space-Time Smackdown expansion. Soon you'll be able to exchange cards with fellow trainers.

Release Dates Revealed

The trading system goes live on January 29th, 2025, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th. The update also introduces new binder and display board designs featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.

The trading functionality requires two special items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Initially, trades will be limited to cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions with rarity levels 1-4 and ★1.

Space-Time Smackdown Expansion Highlights

Celebrating the Sinnoh region, this expansion features two new booster packs starring Legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia with stunning new artwork. Look out for fan favorites like Lucario and Sinnoh's starter trio: Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup.
