Pokémon TCG to Expand with Booster Set and Trading Debut

Pokémon TCG Pocket's highly anticipated trading feature arrives January 29th! A new expansion, "Space-Time Smackdown," follows on January 30th.

The trading feature allows players to exchange cards with friends, mirroring the physical card game experience. Trade hourglasses and tokens will be required.

Space-Time Smackdown introduces beloved Sinnoh region Pokémon. Two new digital booster packs feature legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia.

Beyond the legendaries, popular Pokémon like Lucario and the Sinnoh starters (Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup) are also included. These can be obtained through Wonder Pick and traditional booster packs.

This update is expected to be well-received, especially given the addition of long-awaited Pokémon. However, initial concerns about the trading mechanics exist, prompting hopes for ongoing adjustments.
