Latest Pokémon GO Event: Beloved Buddies Strengthens Bonds

Pokémon GO fans, get ready for an exciting new event! The Beloved Buddies event is just around the corner, bringing surprise debuts, special bonuses, and thrilling raids to the game. This event is all about strengthening the bond between you and your Pokémon, with a special first-time appearance from the Sea Creeper Pokémon, Dhelmise.

When Is the Beloved Buddies Event Kicking Off in Pokémon GO?

Mark your calendars! The Beloved Buddies event will run from February 11th to February 15th. During this time, you'll have the chance to add Dhelmise to your collection and challenge it in raids.

Throughout the event, you can enjoy double XP for catching Pokémon and extended Lure Module durations of a full hour. These Lures will attract a variety of Pokémon, including Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Cutiefly, and Fomantis. Catching any of these will reward you with an additional 500 Stardust per catch.

You'll also see an increased presence of wild Pokémon during the Beloved Buddies event. Keep an eye out for Shiny Diglett and Shiny Dunsparce, as they'll be appearing more frequently. Other Pokémon you can expect to encounter more often include Nidoran, Diglett, Slowpoke, Shellder, Dunsparce, Remoraid, Mantine, Plusle, Minun, Volbeat, Illumise, Cutiefly, and Fomantis.

Raids during the event will offer a mix of challenges. One-star raids will feature Shellder, Dwebble, and Skrelp, with Skrelp having an increased shiny rate. Three-star raids will include Slowbro, Hippowdon, and the debuting Dhelmise. For those looking for a bigger challenge, five-star raids will feature Enamorus (Incarnate Forme), while Mega Raids will bring in the formidable Mega Tyranitar.
