How to Get Fidough & Dachsbun in Pokémon GO

The Fidough Fetch event (January 4th-8th, 2025) marked Fidough's debut. It appeared as a wild spawn alongside other canine Pokémon. Players could also obtain Fidough through Field Research Tasks and Collection Challenges.

Trading with other Trainers is another option. Online Pokémon GO communities (Reddit, Discord, etc.) are helpful for finding reliable trading partners.

Dachsbun doesn't appear in the wild. Trainers must either trade for it or evolve a Fidough using 50 Candies. Given Dachsbun's battling potential, evolving your strongest Fidough is recommended for future events and battles.

Can Fidough & Dachsbun Be Shiny in Pokémon GO?

Currently (as of the Dual Destiny season), shiny Fidough and Dachsbun are unavailable. However, future events may introduce shiny variants, as is common with Pokémon GO. Until then, Trainers will have to wait for a shiny release opportunity.
