Pokémon Gold & Silver 25th Anniversary Merch Arrives at PokeCenters in Japan

Celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold & Silver with a new line of limited-edition merchandise! Launching November 23rd, 2024, at Pokémon Centers across Japan, this collection features a diverse range of items.

This exciting collection, unveiled by The Pokémon Company, includes home goods, apparel, and more. While currently exclusive to Pokémon Centers in Japan, pre-orders begin November 21st, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan. No information is yet available regarding wider distribution.

Prices range from ¥495 (approx. $4 USD) to ¥22,000 (approx. $143 USD). Highlights include:

Originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Gold and Silver revolutionized the Pokémon franchise with innovative features, including an in-game clock affecting Pokémon appearances and events. The games introduced 100 new Pokémon (Gen 2), including fan favorites like Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. A 10th-anniversary remake, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, was released for the Nintendo DS in 2009.
