Sega Launches its Own Account System: Unlock Exclusive Rewards and Free DLC!

Sega has launched its new Sega Account service, a centralized hub for all things Sega and Atlus. This account offers a wealth of benefits, including access to the latest news, exclusive in-game bonuses, and the ability to link accounts across multiple platforms for streamlined game management. Future plans include integrated game history tracking.

Celebrate the Launch with Free DLC!

To mark the occasion, Sega is offering a fantastic incentive: players who create a Sega Account and link a compatible Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (previously known as Like a Dragon: Pirate of the Caribbean) platform account (Steam, PlayStation Network, or Xbox) before March 7th will receive a free Kazuma Kiryu Special Outfit DLC for Goro Majima. This unique code will be distributed starting February 17th and redeemable in-game upon release on February 28th.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Players Also Benefit

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis (NGS) players aren't left out! Linking your Sega Account to NGS unlocks a generous reward package: 300 Star Gems, 100x C/Endymio, 500x Card Scratch Tickets, 3 Beauty Salon Passes, 3 Color Change Passes, and a special Lobby Action featuring your character proudly displaying the Sega logo.

A Glimpse into Sega's "Super Game" Future?

The launch of the Sega Account fuels speculation about Sega's ambitious "Super Game" project, announced in 2022. While details remain scarce, the new account system could be a crucial component in Sega's strategy for a large-scale global title, targeted for release by March 2026. The company is actively developing numerous titles, from classic revivals like Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio to new ventures including the intriguing Project Century. The Sega Account may signal the beginning of a new chapter for the company, and the future remains excitingly uncertain.
