Fans of the Persona series, rejoice! *Persona 5: The Phantom X* is making its way to a global audience, with pre-registration already live on Android. Mark your calendars, as the game is set for a worldwide release on June 26th, 2025, the same date it will launch in Japan. This exciting news follows the game's successful launches in China a year ago, and subsequent releases in Taiwan, South Korea, Macau, and Hong Kong, where it's available on Android, iOS, and PC.
SEGA and Atlus are fully committed to bringing *Persona 5: The Phantom X* to fans worldwide. Developed by Black Wing Game Studio with contributions from former Persona 5 developers, the game operates on a free-to-play model, featuring a gacha system that allows players to summon various characters to join their party.
The global version will include Japanese voice acting with the option for either English or Japanese text, catering to a broad audience. If you're eager to dive into the action, head over to the Google Play Store to pre-register now. Don't miss out on the first look at the game:
In *Persona 5: The Phantom X*, you'll step into the shoes of a brand-new protagonist, leading a fresh crew of Phantom Thieves through a stylized rendition of contemporary Tokyo. Expect new palaces and mementos to explore, blending seamlessly with light social simulation elements and the series' beloved dungeon crawling. The gameplay retains the signature turn-based combat and the dual-life rhythm that fans adore, enriched with a guild system, a PvE mode named Velvet Trials, and some familiar faces from the original Persona 5.
The story begins with your protagonist awakening from a nightmare, finding themselves in a distorted version of reality. Along the journey, you'll encounter a talking owl named Lefaye and the enigmatic Velvet Room crew, including the long-nosed man and his assistants, adding depth and intrigue to your adventure.
That's all for our update on the global pre-registration of *Persona 5: The Phantom X*. Stay tuned for more exciting news, including our next feature on Crunchyroll’s Roguelike Combat Deckbuilder, Shogun Showdown.
