Power Charges are a key mechanic in Path of Exile 2, boosting skill effectiveness in powerful builds. While not essential for all builds, understanding their function is crucial for maximizing character potential.

What are Power Charges?

Power Charges act as temporary buffs, consumed by specific skills to enhance their effects. Unlike Frenzy or Endurance Charges, they are passive until actively used. For example, Falling Thunder utilizes them for increased damage. Their impact varies depending on the skill and build configuration. Many items and effects also interact with Power Charges, adding further build customization.
