When Does Every Party Member Join In Metaphor: ReFantazio?

Embark on an epic adventure in Metaphor: ReFantazio alongside the protagonist and seven unique companions! While Gallica joins at the game's outset, her combat participation is initially limited. Each party member joins on specific days during pivotal story events. Note: Reading ahead might reveal some pleasant surprises, so proceed with caution!

Each Party Member & Their Joining Day

Each party member awakens to a unique Archetype, usable by any party member after awakening. Early companions may be initially non-playable, but later members awaken just before their first combat appearance.

Storhl - Warrior

Storhl, your first recruit, joins on June 5th during the Border Fort events. However, his Archetype awakens the following day, June 6th, in the Nord Mines, making him fully playable. Until then, he's AI-controlled.

Grius

Grius joins after the Border Fort events but becomes combat-ready on June 6th. After Storhl's awakening, you can summon an Archetype for Grius, making him a full party member, though without a traditional awakening.

Hulkenberg - Knight

Hulkenberg interacts with the party from June 10th, but her Archetype awakens and she joins the fight during the boss battle on June 11th.

Heismay - Thief

Heismay is your first free-time target in Martira (a largely linear section). His Archetype awakens, and he joins the party on July 4th within the town's main dungeon.

Junah - Masked Dancer

Junah appears throughout the game but joins your party upon her Archetype awakening on August 13th.

Eupha - Summoner

Eupha's arrival is more flexible. During your Viraga Island free time (August 19th - September 4th), complete the Dragon Temple Dungeon. Eupha joins for the final boss on whichever day you complete the dungeon, though her Bond can only begin after the deadline.

Basilio - Berserker

Basilio awakens and joins the party during the Saint's Day events on September 11th. However, he's not fully playable until the next day, if you choose to use him.
