Universal Pictures unveils the first look at Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, The Odyssey, starring Matt Damon as the legendary Odysseus. The official synopsis describes The Odyssey as a sweeping action epic, filmed globally using cutting-edge IMAX technology. This marks the first time Homer's seminal work will grace IMAX screens.

The film chronicles Odysseus's arduous ten-year journey home to Ithaca after the Trojan War. While Universal remains tight-lipped on further details, early reports suggest an impressive ensemble cast.

Matt Damon, reuniting with Universal after his Oppenheimer success (a seven-Academy-Award winner, including Best Picture and Best Director), was reportedly the first actor in negotiations for the role. Speculation points to a star-studded lineup potentially including Charlize Theron, Tom Holland, Zendaya, Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong'o, and Robert Pattinson.
