Nintendo Adding Wario Land 4 to Nintendo Switch Online Library

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers with the Expansion Pack will receive a delightful treat on February 14th: the addition of the acclaimed Game Boy Advance title, Wario Land 4.

A newly released trailer showcases the game's return, available at no extra charge to eligible subscribers.

The game's synopsis teases Wario's latest misadventure: "The avaricious Wario returns, this time on a treasure hunt! Ignoring all warnings, he ventures into a cursed pyramid rumored to be overflowing with gold and jewels. Our anti-hero soon discovers the curse is no laughing matter, realizing survival itself is his greatest prize."

Players can expect a challenging and varied experience across 20 expansive levels. Earned gold and treasure can be spent on bonus items after each stage, and numerous minigames provide welcome breaks from the main adventure.

Originally released in 2001, Wario Land 4 received widespread critical acclaim, including a 9/10 rating from IGN, who praised its diverse level design and challenging gameplay, emphasizing the need for strategic thinking to navigate each stage.

This marks the 24th Game Boy Advance title added to the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack library, joining a roster of classics including Mario Kart: Super Circuit, The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, and Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team.
