Metro 2033: Cursed Station Guide

This guide helps players navigate the challenging "Cursed" mission in Metro 2033, clarifying objectives and providing step-by-step instructions. The mission, set in the Turgenevskaya station, requires players to locate and detonate a bomb to collapse a tunnel, then destroy an airlock to further secure the station.

Locating the Bomb

After speaking with the defenders near the barricaded escalators, players learn that an explosives crew went missing. The bomb is located at the far end of the right-hand tunnel. Avoid the ghostly shadows in the main tunnel to avoid damage. Frequent nosalis attacks necessitate retreats to the defenders for support as needed.

Destroying the Tunnel

With the bomb, proceed to the left-hand tunnel (from the defenders' perspective). Artyom automatically plants and lights the fuse; swiftly retreat to avoid the blast. Alternatively, a grenade or pipe bomb can achieve the same result. Note that nosalises can still enter through other routes.

Destroying the Airlock

To secure the station completely, destroy the airlock. Ascend the stairs to the right of the main platform, into the torchlit area. Interact with the support columns to plant a pipe bomb and immediately evacuate. After both entrances are destroyed, proceed with Khan to the shrine room and the "Armory" mission.
