Marvel Snap Goes Offline in the US along with Other Apps

Marvel Snap has been pulled from US app stores. This news coincides with the ban of TikTok in the US, and the two events are directly related. Both Marvel Snap, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, and CapCut are owned by ByteDance, the parent company of TikTok.

Why the US Ban?

ByteDance is currently facing intense scrutiny from US lawmakers regarding national security and data privacy concerns. To preempt a more extensive crackdown, the company has proactively removed these apps from US app stores.

There's a possibility that TikTok, and consequently these other ByteDance apps, could return to US app stores, at least temporarily. However, this remains uncertain.

The US market represents a significant portion of the revenue and player base for these Chinese-owned games and apps; a complete and permanent ban would be severely detrimental to ByteDance.

The future of Marvel Snap's availability in the US is currently unknown. For now, we can only wait and see. Players outside the US can continue to enjoy the game via the Google Play Store.
