After Four Years of Launch, Alchemy Stars Shutting Down and Getting an Offline Version

Tencent and Level Infinite recently announced the upcoming closure of Alchemy Stars' online services. Launched in June 2021, this popular mobile game will transition to an offline-only version on January 24th, 2025. This means you'll still be able to replay the story and enjoy your progress, but online features will cease.

Alchemy Stars Service End Date

The game's live service officially ends on January 24th, 2025. Before then, on January 10th, from 4:00 to 9:00 GMT, maintenance will be performed to release version 1.43.0, introducing a crucial local data save feature. Updating to this version is essential to preserve your game progress.

You'll find a data save button on the main game screen. This allows you to save your user data multiple times, but this option will only be available until January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Any unsaved data after this time will be lost permanently.

The offline version will not receive any further updates. Deleting the app will make it irretrievable; reinstalling will not be possible. However, the offline version will allow you to revisit the story, upgrade units, and continue playing with your saved data.

While the transition to an offline version is a positive alternative to a complete shutdown, remember to save your game data before January 24th at 4:00 GMT. Download Alchemy Stars from the Google Play Store before it's removed from online stores.
