Kingdom Come: Deliverance Stars Bid Farewell

The curtain has fallen on a significant chapter in the Kingdom Come: Deliverance saga. After years of dedication, Tom McKay and Luke Dale, the voices behind Henry and Hans respectively, have concluded their journey at Warhorse Studios. Their departure marks a bittersweet moment, filled with appreciation, fond memories, and a palpable sense of closure.

However, even as they bid farewell, the transition was already underway. Simultaneously with the actors' final recordings, Warhorse Studios initiated auditions for new talent to inherit the iconic roles. The timing was poignantly symbolic – a goodbye to one generation, ushering in a new one.

McKay, renowned for his portrayal of the protagonist Henry, eloquently described the unique bond forged within the project:

“While the term ‘family’ is often used loosely in creative circles, in this instance, it truly resonated. The connections I forged during this journey are among the deepest and most enduring of my career.”

This familial theme mirrored the game's narrative. Henry's tragic loss of his parents served as a powerful driving force in his story, a resonance amplified by McKay's personal experience of losing his father. For him, Kingdom Come: Deliverance transcended a mere project; it became a deeply personal and profoundly moving experience.
