Onimusha: Way of the Sword

A trailer unveiled the continuation of Capcom's iconic series. This samurai action game promises stylish combat against demons, reminiscent of *Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance*. Players will wield swords in brutal battles while uncovering mysteries in feudal Kyoto. Release is slated for 2026, with a remastered version of *Onimusha 2* arriving May 23, 2025.

Saros

Housemarque, the studio behind *Returnal*, presented *Saros*. Details are scarce, but it promises an evolution of their rogue-like third-person action gameplay, combined with a surreal, Lynchian narrative. Set on the planet Carcosa, threatened by a sinister eclipse, the game draws inspiration from Indian mythology. Release is planned for 2026.

Hell is Us

Described as "Death Stranding with action," this action-adventure title, directed by Jonathan Jacques-Belletête (art director of *Deus Ex: Human Revolution* and *Deus Ex: Mankind Divided*), takes place in a war-torn country amidst an otherworldly apocalypse. Inspired by *Annihilation* and the *Southern Reach* trilogy. Release date: September 4, 2025.

Days Gone Remastered will launch with updated graphics and new modes on April 25, 2025. Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, a remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, featuring all bosses, releases August 28, 2025.

MindsEye

Leslie Benzies' first project since leaving Rockstar Games. The trailer suggests a game that aims to redefine gaming. A summer 2025 release is anticipated.

The *Overture* DLC for *Lies of P*, exploring the protagonist's backstory in the snowy city of Krat, releases summer 2025. *Stellar Blade* launches on PC and features a crossover with *Goddess of Victory* in June 2025. *Lost Soul Aside*, a Final Fantasy-style adventure, debuts May 30, 2025. *Five Nights at Freddy’s: Secret of the Mimic* has a gameplay trailer and June 13 release date.

*Tides of Annihilation* blends elements of *Elden Ring* and *Stellar Blade*, set in a fantasy London. *Metal Eden*, a first-person sci-fi shooter exclusive to PS5, is out May 6, 2025. *Monster Hunter Wilds* received announcements of post-launch updates. *Shinobi: Art of Vengeance*, a return to the classic series by its original creators, releases August 29, 2025. *Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds*, an arcade racer, begins closed beta on February 21. *Split Fiction*, a cooperative adventure from Josef Fares, releases March 6, 2025.

Directive 8020

A sci-fi survival horror game inspired by *The Thing* and the *Alien* franchise.

The Midnight Walk, a dark fantasy VR adventure in the style of Tim Burton, releases for PS5 and PS VR2 on May 8, 2025. Dreams of Another, a shooter with fully destructible environments, is coming soon.

Keep an eye out for these exciting releases throughout 2025!
