Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch

Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised to launch on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for a budget-friendly $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and narrative depth.

A World Rebuilt Through Melody

The game unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by destruction. Hope emerges in the form of AI girls, survivors tasked with restoring the world through the power of music. As you progress, the story behind the catastrophe and the AI girls' existence gradually unfolds, challenging you to uncover the truth and aid their mission.

Gameplay and Features

Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant musical experience. Players will tap rhythm buttons in sync with the on-screen action, immersing themselves in a captivating musical journey. Four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro) cater to various skill sets, with the number of gameplay lanes increasing from four to seven as the difficulty ramps up.

The base game boasts 48 songs, with a season pass offering continuous access to new tracks. The soundtrack is a standout feature, featuring popular tunes from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including tracks like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra."
