Jack Quaid, known for his role in *The Boys*, has expressed a strong desire to star in a *BioShock* movie, citing the game as one of his all-time favorites. During a Reddit AMA to promote his new film *Novocaine*, Quaid emphasized the rich lore of *BioShock*, suggesting it could be well-suited for a TV or movie adaptation. "I would actually love to be in a live action adaptation of *BioShock* - one of my favorite games of all time," he stated, highlighting the potential for exploring the game's deep narrative in a new format.

The feasibility of a *BioShock* movie remains uncertain. Last July, producer Roy Lee mentioned that the project had undergone significant changes due to shifts in leadership, resulting in a more personal and scaled-down version of the film. These adjustments were necessitated by lower budgets from Netflix, although specific details about the plot remain undisclosed. Francis Lawrence, known for directing *The Hunger Games*, is still attached to direct this reimagined adaptation.

In the same Reddit session, Quaid acknowledged the frequent comparisons between himself and the video game character Max Payne, whose likeness is modeled after Remedy writer Sam Lake. Fans have noted the striking resemblance, especially in scenes from Quaid's new action movie *Novocaine*, which some have mistaken for a *Max Payne* adaptation. Quaid admitted to the resemblance but confessed he has yet to play *Max Payne*, though it's on his list of games to explore.

Beyond *BioShock*, Quaid revealed his passion for FromSoftware games, describing himself as a "huge video game nerd." He shared his journey through the challenging titles like *Bloodborne*, *Sekiro*, and currently, *Elden Ring*. Quaid credits Reddit as a valuable resource for tips and strategies to conquer these games' notorious bosses, reflecting his deep engagement and enthusiasm for the gaming community.
