Mastering Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium: A Comprehensive Progression Guide
Developed by Mica and Sunborn, Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium builds upon its popular predecessor. This guide streamlines your progression, helping you navigate the initial complexities.
Table of Contents
Rerolling for a Strong Foundation
For free-to-play players, rerolling is highly recommended. Aim to acquire Suomi (rate-up character) and either Qiongjiu or Tololo (from standard or beginner banners). This powerful starting duo significantly eases early-game challenges.
Prioritizing Story Campaign Progression
Focus on completing the main story missions. Ignore side battles initially; prioritize leveling your Commander to 30 to unlock crucial features like PvP and Boss Fights, which offer valuable rewards.
Strategic Summoning
Conserve Collapse Pieces for rate-up banners. If you missed Suomi, invest all resources into her banner. Otherwise, use standard summon tickets (not Collapse Pieces) on the standard banner for additional SSR characters.
Limit Breaking and Leveling Up
Character levels are linked to your Commander level. After each Commander level increase, utilize the Fitting Room to level your Dolls and their weapons. At level 20, farm Stock Bars via Supply Missions to break the level limit. Concentrate on a core team of four, ideally including Suomi, Qiongjiu/Tololo, Sharkry, and Ksenia (replace Ksenia with Tololo if obtained).
Maximizing Event Rewards
Complete all Normal event missions, then prioritize the first Hard mission daily (three attempts). These provide event currency for the shop, where you can acquire summon tickets, Collapse Pieces, SR characters, weapons, and other resources.
Dispatch Room and Affinity
Increase Doll affinity in the Dormitory to unlock Dispatch missions. These missions provide idle resource gains, Wish Coins (for a separate gacha system with Perithya acquisition chances), summon tickets, and other valuable items.
Conquering Boss Fights and Combat Exercises
Focus on Boss Fights (a scoring mode) and Combat Exercises (PvP). For Boss Fights, a team of Qiongjiu, Suomi, Ksenia, and Sharkry is highly effective. In Combat Exercises, defensive losses don’t impact your score; set a weak defense to allow others to farm, while targeting easier opponents for points.
Hard Mode Campaign Missions
After completing Normal mode, tackle Hard mode and side battles for additional Collapse Pieces and summon tickets.
This guide provides a solid framework for progressing in Girls’ Frontline 2: Exilium. Remember to consult additional resources for further tips and strategies.
