Given that only one new 5-Star character is typically released per patch, there are 43 limited 5-Star characters that should ideally have a rerun once a year. However, with only 27 available slots on the Event Banners, this becomes unfeasible.

The introduction of the Chronicled Banner in Genshin Impact was an attempt by the developers to address this issue, but many players view it as a temporary solution rather than a long-term fix.
