People Can Fly, the studio behind Bulletstorm and co-developer of Gears of War: E-Day, has partnered with Sony Interactive Entertainment on a new game, codenamed Project Delta. According to People Can Fly's report, Project Delta is a work-for-hire project, though specifics remain undisclosed.

This new title joins a roster of projects currently in development at People Can Fly, including Project Gemini (with Square Enix), Project Echo (with Krafton), Project Red (potentially also with Sony), and the recently announced final VR project, Project Bison. The studio recently suspended work on Project Victoria, scaled down another project (Project Bifrost), and cancelled Project Dagger, a Take-Two Interactive partnership.

Despite these changes, People Can Fly still has eight known active projects, including the upcoming Gears of War: E-Day collaboration with The Coalition. While a release date for Gears of War: E-Day is yet to be announced, Project Gemini, the Square Enix partnership, is currently slated for a 2026 release.
