Game of Thrones: Kingsroad Reveals 3 New Classes

Netmarble has released a new trailer highlighting the three character classes in its upcoming RPG, Game of Thrones: Kingsroad. As the launch approaches, Netmarble offers a glimpse into Westeros through this action-adventure title, featuring intense and visceral combat.

What are the three new classes featured in the Game of Thrones: Kingsroad trailer?

These three playable classes draw inspiration from the most legendary warriors in the series: the Knight, the Sellsword, and the Assassin. The trailer showcases each class in action, demonstrating their distinct combat styles—honed steel, raw power, and shadowy precision.

The Knight class relies on polished swordplay to cut down opponents. The Sellsword wields a massive two-handed axe, favoring overwhelming brute force. Meanwhile, the Assassin strikes with blinding speed and vanishes just as quickly, bringing the lethal artistry of the Faceless Men to the battlefield.

When is the game launching?

Game of Thrones: Kingsroad is scheduled for release in June 2025 on PC and mobile. The game introduces an original story where you play as the unexpected heir to House Tyre, a minor noble family in the North, just as the realm teeters on the edge of renewed conflict.

The story unfolds during the final stages of the war for the Iron Throne. Stannis Baratheon is mounting a desperate final bid for power, the North struggles to recover from the atrocities of the Red Wedding, and the Great Houses carefully plan their next maneuvers.

Netmarble offered a playable demo during Steam Next Fest from February 24th to March 3rd, giving players an early taste of the game. While an exact release date has yet to be confirmed, more details are expected soon. In the meantime, stay updated through the official website.
