Fortnite is gearing up for a major crossover event featuring the popular Vocaloid, Hatsune Miku! Social media buzz suggests a potential in-game appearance, possibly including more than just a skin.

A playful exchange between the Fortnite Festival account and Hatsune Miku's official account hints at a missing backpack. This playful interaction has fueled speculation among players. Beyond the anticipated Miku skin and a virtual concert, leaks suggest a themed pickaxe and a "Miku the Catgirl" skin variant are also in the works.

The event is expected to launch on January 14th.

Separately, Epic Games is pursuing legal action against professional Fortnite player Seb Araujo for using cheat software (aimbot and wallhacks) in a late December tournament. The lawsuit alleges Araujo gained an unfair advantage, winning thousands of dollars in prize money while other players competed fairly. Epic contends Araujo's actions deprived legitimate competitors of a fair chance to win.
