Dragon Quest X is coming to mobile, but so far only in Japan

Dragon Quest X Offline, a single-player version of the popular MMORPG, is launching on iOS and Android in Japan tomorrow. Japanese players can purchase the offline version at a discounted price, enjoying the game's unique real-time combat and other MMORPG features on mobile devices. This release follows the 2022 console and PC launch of the offline version, a significant development considering the game's initial 2012 release and a previous, unfulfilled plan to bring it to mobile in 2013.

A Japan-Only Affair (For Now)

Unfortunately, there's currently no official announcement regarding a global release of Dragon Quest X Offline for mobile. While the original Dragon Quest X was exclusive to Japan, the potential for a worldwide mobile launch remains, although there's little news to suggest it's imminent. This is a disappointment for many international fans who've enjoyed other entries in the series.
