Delta Force pre-orders now open for Android and iOS

Delta Force, previously known as Delta Force: Hawk Ops, is now open for pre-registration on iOS and Android. This Tencent-developed title, launching late January 2025, marks a significant entry into the modern military shooter market, blending missions, modes, and tactical gameplay.

The Delta Force franchise, a cornerstone of FPS gaming predating Call of Duty, is renowned for its realistic combat, advanced gadgets, and authentic weaponry. Level Infinite's revival features Warfare mode (large-scale battles akin to Battlefield) and Operations mode (extraction-focused gameplay). A single-player campaign, inspired by the Battle of Mogadishu and the film Black Hawk Down, is also planned for 2025.

Addressing Cheating Concerns

Despite high anticipation, Delta Force has faced controversy regarding its anti-cheat measures. Tencent's approach, employing G.T.I. Security, has been criticized for its aggressive tactics, including restrictions on specific software and hardware for the PC version. While the impact on the mobile version might be less severe, this controversy could still affect player interest. However, the reduced likelihood of cheating on mobile platforms offers a potential path to meeting expectations.
