Cyberpunk 2077 Fortnite collaboration: Why no male V?
Fortnite players eagerly awaited Cyberpunk 2077 content, and the eventual crossover was met with excitement. However, the absence of the male version of protagonist V caused some disappointment. Speculation ran rampant, with fans analyzing CD Projekt Red's marketing strategies. The explanation, however, is far simpler.

Patrick Mills, the Cyberpunk 2077 lore expert, made the final call. He cited two reasons: the bundle was limited to two characters, one of which had to be Johnny Silverhand. This left no space for both male and female versions of V. With Johnny already male, selecting the female V was a logical choice, further influenced by Mills' personal preference for that version.

Therefore, no grand conspiracy; simply a practical decision. This marks Keanu Reeves' second Fortnite skin, following the earlier addition of John Wick.
