Cyberpunk Action Game Replaced Delayed to Next Year

In the latest financial report from Thunderful Group, which has already undergone several rounds of layoffs, an intriguing detail about the much-anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced, has come to light. The document reveals that gamers will have to wait until 2026 to experience the game, marking yet another delay in its release schedule.

The developers at Sad Cat Studios had previously announced a delay for Replaced, pushing the release to 2025, citing the game's development as a "unique challenge". Initially slated for a 2022 launch, the game faced subsequent delays, moving first to 2023 and then to the previous year. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains committed to delivering a project of the highest quality, driven by the significant attention and high expectations from eager players.

Replaced was first unveiled to the public in 2021 during Microsoft's presentation at the now-defunct E3 exhibition, generating considerable buzz and anticipation among gaming enthusiasts.

While the developers have yet to comment on this latest delay, Sad Cat Studios has not remained silent on the project. They have been actively sharing updates about the upcoming title, including showcasing combat footage and a mini-game this summer, keeping the community engaged and informed about the game's progress.
