China has approved the release of the Genshin Impact, GTA and ZZZ hybrid

Ananta, formerly known as Project Mugen, is poised for a full launch, having recently revealed its title. Early promotional material has generated significant buzz, showcasing a unique blend of gameplay elements reminiscent of popular titles like Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and even GTA, all presented within a captivating anime aesthetic.

Ananta's release in China is confirmed for 2025 across PC, PlayStation 5, and mobile platforms. A December 5th trailer unveiled the game as an open-world urban RPG, placing players in the role of an A.C.D. agent investigating the mysteries of Nova, a sun-kissed coastal city ripe for exploration.

This ambitious project is a collaborative effort between NetEase Studios, Thunder Fire Studio, and Naked Rain. Its global appeal stems from its familiar yet supernatural environments, promising a unique gaming experience.

Key features highlighted for Ananta include four-player team-based combat, a striking art style, and fluid, high-speed movement.
