Fields of Mistria, like many farming simulators, includes a fishing minigame. The rarest fish are the Legendary Fish, and this guide details how to catch them all.

Legendary Fish Locations

Four Legendary Fish await in Fields of Mistria. Their rarity is offset by an in-game notification at the start of each day: "A legendary fish is nearby." This alerts you to a potential fishing opportunity.

Remember: Unlocking the Legendary fishing skill (Tier 3, 80 Essences) is crucial before Legendary Fish will spawn. Catching all four in your first year might be challenging, so prioritize this skill before year two.

Spring – Cherry Fish

The Cherry Fish, a spring-exclusive, prefers ponds. The large eastern pond near the city is recommended. Focus on windy days and ignore larger fish shadows; the Cherry Fish is small. The smaller pond near the Mistria Town Manor House offers an alternative location.

Summer – Lightning Fish

Summer brings the Lightning Fish, found in rivers during stormy weather. The Narrows (west of the city) offers two river sections. Explore other rivers in the city or on your farm. Look for medium-sized shadows.

Fall – Leaf Fish

The Leaf Fish, an autumnal catch, requires windy days and river fishing. The rivers along the Eastern Road are suggested. Its small size necessitates careful observation of smaller shadows.

Winter – Snow Fish

The Snow Fish, appearing only in winter during snowy weather, is found at the beach. Explore the shore and the small western island for better chances. Its medium size makes it easier to spot amongst other fish.

Using Legendary Fish

Donate your Legendary Fish to the Museum. Collecting all four unlocks a reward: Fish Wings. Museum progress influences additional rewards, potentially including furniture, recipes, and treasure chests.
