Call of Duty: Warzone Glitch Allows Players to Equip Old Camos on Black Ops 6 Weapons

A newly discovered Warzone glitch allows players to use Modern Warfare 3 (MW3) camos on Black Ops 6 (BO6) weapons. This workaround, however, requires a friend and involves specific steps within a private Warzone match. The method, detailed by BSPGamin on Twitter (and highlighted by Dexerto), is unofficial and likely to be patched.

The glitch arises from a disparity between readily available MW3 weapons and the meta-dominant BO6 weapons in Warzone. Players invest significant time earning mastery camos in BO6, only to find them less useful than their MW3 counterparts. This glitch offers a solution, albeit a temporary one.

Executing the Glitch (Requires Two Players):

  1. Start a private Warzone match.
  2. Player 1 equips a BO6 weapon in their first loadout slot.
  3. Player 1 joins Player 2's lobby.
  4. Player 1 equips an MW3 weapon in their first loadout slot and rapidly selects the desired camo.
  5. Player 2 switches to a private match.
  6. Player 2 leaves the private match.
  7. Player 1 repeats camo selection while Player 2 rejoins the private match.

If successful, the MW3 camo will be applied to the BO6 weapon.

While this provides a workaround, Treyarch has confirmed they're adding a challenge tracking feature to BO6, a feature present in MW3 but missing from BO6's initial release. This update should improve the camo acquisition process for BO6 weapons. Until then, this glitch offers a temporary solution, but remember, it's unofficial and subject to removal.
