Blazing Guns and Crossed Bridges: Gunblade, Bridge Map Join Rivals' Battlefield

Roblox's Rivals receives Update 9, introducing the Gunblade and Bridge map. This update, while smaller than previous ones, delivers exciting new content for players.

The Gunblade, a unique combination rifle and blade, adds a new dimension to combat. Its dual functionality allows for both ranged and melee attacks, creating unpredictable gameplay. This weapon is particularly effective on the new Bridge map.

The Bridge map, a close-quarters combat arena set in Seoul, Korea, and created by @GreatGuyBoom, provides intense, fast-paced action with limited space for maneuvering.

Update 9 notably omits bug fixes and balance changes, prioritizing the new content. Minor skin modifications to the Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi, along with renaming some weapon skins, are included. The developers assure players that these adjustments, along with other quality-of-life improvements, will be addressed in the next major update, which will finally introduce the highly anticipated Ranked mode.

NEW SPECIAL CHALLENGES:

• New challenges replacing the Winter Spotlight, offering keys and a limited-time Bungeoppang charm.

OTHER:

• Minor modifications to Demon Shorty and Demon Uzi skins.
• Renaming of Hexxed Flare Gun, Hexxed Candle, and Hexxed wrap to Vexed Flare Gun, Vexed Candle, and Vexed respectively.

The developers confirmed the intentional omission of bug fixes and balance changes in this update, focusing on the new map and weapon. They emphasized their commitment to player feedback and promised these improvements will be included in the upcoming Ranked update.
