Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies: Weapon Upgrades, Ammo Mods, and Support

Jingle Hells, the holiday-themed map in Black Ops 6 Zombies, introduces unique mechanics for weapon upgrades and item acquisition. This guide details how to enhance your arsenal and secure essential support items.

Weapon Upgrades in Jingle Hells

Unlike the standard Black Ops 6 Zombies mode, the Arsenal Machine is absent in Jingle Hells. Weapon upgrades are achieved using Aether Tools, consumable items with varying rarity tiers (color-coded). Using a higher-tier Aether Tool (e.g., Purple/Legendary) upgrades your weapon to that tier. Here's how to obtain Aether Tools:

  • Church Spire: Throw a grenade at the zombie head atop the church spire. The resulting chaos yields loot, including Aether Tools. Higher round numbers increase the chance of finding rarer Aether Tools.
  • Bank Vault: Loot Keys unlock safety deposit boxes within the Bank Vault, which may contain Aether Tools of varying rarities.
  • S.A.M. Trials: Completing S.A.M. Trials, aiming for the highest reward tier, offers a chance to acquire Aether Tools.
  • Hidden Power GobbleGum: Instantly upgrade your weapon to Legendary rarity using this GobbleGum.
  • Mystery Box, Wall Buys, Holiday Presents: Weapons obtained from these sources gain increased rarity as the round progresses.

Ammo Mods in Jingle Hells

Currently, only the Cryo Freeze Ammo Mod is available in Jingle Hells. This consumable is primarily found within Holiday Presents, which drop with increased rarity in later rounds. Holiday Presents are obtained through:

  • Enemy Kills: Occasionally drop upon enemy elimination.
  • Naughty or Nice Power-up: The stocking-shaped power-up grants either a "Nice" (multiple Holiday Presents) or "Naughty" (increased vermin spawns) effect.
  • S.A.M. Machine: Spawns several Holiday Presents upon activation.

Equipment and Support in Jingle Hells

The Workbench is also missing from Jingle Hells, eliminating Salvage-based crafting of equipment and support items like Chopper Gunners or Self Revives. However, these items can still be acquired through:

  • Enemy Kills: Equipment drops from regular enemies.
  • Holiday Presents: Can contain equipment.
  • Special/Elite Enemy Kills: Support items drop from these tougher foes.
  • S.A.M. Trials: May reward equipment and support.
  • Bank Vault Deposit Boxes: A chance to find equipment and support.

This comprehensive guide equips you with the knowledge to navigate the unique resource acquisition system of Jingle Hells in Black Ops 6 Zombies.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone are available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.
