Battledom is an upcoming strategy game now in Alpha testing

Indie game developer Sander Frenken has unveiled Battledom, his upcoming RTS-lite title, now in Alpha testing. This game serves as a spiritual successor to his 2020 hit, Herodom. Frenken, a part-time developer, has dedicated roughly two years to Battledom's creation, realizing a vision similar to his initial concept for Herodom.

Battledom offers dynamic RTS combat, letting players freely maneuver units across the battlefield. Directly target foes and manually operate siege weapons for devastating attacks. Strategic formations add a layer of tactical depth.

Build your army using in-game currency to create new units. Initially, these units are lightly equipped. Enhance their capabilities by crafting and equipping weapons and armor. Each item impacts unit stats, including range, accuracy, defense, and attack power.

Resource gathering is key. Collect wood, leather, and coal in your village to craft items at the blacksmith, magician, and other specialized workshops.

Frenken's previous success, Herodom, holds a 4.6 App Store rating. Boasting over 55 collectible heroes, 150+ units and siege weapons, and historically-inspired battles, Herodom also offers customization options such as hairstyles, body types, crops, and farm animals.
