Gundam enthusiasts rejoice! An official GUNDAM TCG is on the horizon! A promotional video released on the official GUNDAM TCG X (Twitter) account on September 27th announced a "new global TCG project #GUNDAM," coinciding with the Mobile Suit Gundam 45th anniversary. Whether the game will be solely physical or include online capabilities remains to be seen.

Complete details will be revealed on October 3rd at 7 PM JST during Bandai's CARD GAMES Next Plan Announcement, live-streamed on Bandai's official YouTube channel. The announcement will feature actors Kanata Hongo and Kotoko Sasaki, and former TV Tokyo announcer Shohei Taguchi. Hongo, a known GUNPLA enthusiast, participated in the GUNPLA 40th Anniversary Project in 2020, demonstrating his passion for both GUNPLA and the Gundam franchise.

Anticipation is high amongst fans, reminiscent of Bandai's past TCGs like Super Robot Wars V Crusade and Gundam War (both now discontinued). Many are excitedly referring to the new TCG as "Gundam War 2.0." For the latest updates, follow the official GUNDAM TCG X (Twitter) account.
