Adventure Time Returns With New Sequel Comic in April 2025

Oni Press is bringing back the magic of Adventure Time with a new monthly comic book series launching in April 2025, in collaboration with Cartoon Network and Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products.

Written by Nick Winn and illustrated by Winn and Derek Ballard, Adventure Time #1 continues the adventures of Finn and Jake in the Land of Ooo, picking up after the animated series finale. The initial story arc is titled "Best of Buds."

Winn shared his excitement, stating, "Adventure Time was a huge part of my childhood. It was hilarious and emotionally intelligent—a rare combination. Working on this new series with Oni Press has been a joy and a challenge, creating something fresh while retaining the show's energy and charm."

Series editor Megan Brown added, "We're delighted to bring readers back to the Land of Ooo for new adventures with their favorite characters.
